This seven-week Integrated Reading and Writing course builds advanced reading, analytical thinking, and academic writing skills essential for high school success and future academic demands. Students engage with complex literary and informational texts, analyze arguments and rhetorical techniques, evaluate evidence, and develop organized, well-supported written compositions. Through close reading, discussion, explicit writing instruction, and guided revision, students strengthen their ability to interpret challenging material and communicate sophisticated ideas with clarity and precision.
