The Academies of Loudoun Admissions Writing Camp is designed to help students master the art of persuasive and structured writing to create standout application essays. 4. Week 2: Crafting Questions & Intro to Evidence-Based Writing in STEM

6. Week 3: Academies of Loudoun Writing Prompt: The Situational Type

In this unit, students will engage with Situational Writing Prompts, a critical component of the Academies of Loudoun Writing task. These prompts require students to step into professional roles—such as wildlife biologists, engineers, or data scientists—and respond to real-world challenges with well-reasoned, evidence-based solutions.
